Sudbury’s 2014 Modern Mining &Technology Week was one of most exciting and well attended weeks ever held since its inception, said volunteer committee leaders. The number of participants was estimated at 1200. The multiple events and activities for students and teachers created awareness of the mining industry and the modern and innovative technologies currently in use in this important sector in Greater Sudbury.
